I would say, I love Dubai

The wrap up...

Due to the fact the teams from South Africa had to pull out of the tournament, instead of a typical Bowl and Cup competition following pool rounds, we headed straight into an important semifinal round. The semis and finals took place on Saturday.

We went up against the NA Lions who we struggled against in pool play and this time we gave them a pretty good run for there money, but they came out on top again.

We were then fighting for 3rd against Brussels who we had already beaten in the earlier round, but we looked extremely flat and lacked energy. Brussels wanted it more than us so they deserved that win. We ended the tournament with a record of1-4. A huge learning experience with some great coaching and awesome teammates.

It was always a long day at the rugby, but we still enjoyed watching the HSBC World Series teams compete in the big stadium each night.

With competition over, we then spent the next day (Sunday) in the desert which was a really cool experience. We got to ride 4x4 ATV's and then went on a desert "safari" and during that time we saw countless camels.

We had a dinner and a show that night and it really gave us a sense of the culture here in the Middle East.

To conclude my thoughts of this trip, I would say I love Dubai. It is a very unique place and I would definitely come again.
